Zeina started to perform in 1982 with Bahi Barakat´s dancegroup.

About Zeina
Zeina is her stage name, she was given while working as a dancer in Egypt 1990-1994
Real name:
Suzanne Petrén Abou Shebika
Born in Stockholm, Högalid Sweden
Dance Background:
Jazz, classical balett, oriental dance since 1981.
Also danced a little: Hawaii, Tahiti och Samba.

The couple is also organizing the Stockholm Belly Dance Festival & Cairo By Night Festival together where she is a regular teacher since year 2000.
Zeina is now an Internationally
renowned teacher and Choreographer.
Through the years she has been visiting many Countries wordwide
with her oriental dance in workshops and festivals:

Denmark, Iceland, Norway,
Belgium, Malaysia, Poland, Italy,
Spain, Ukraine, Egypt, Lithuania,
Czeck Republic, Russia, Belarus...
Zeina is teaching workshops in Sweden and internationally and is teaching at the Nile Group festival in Cairo since 2005

Hotels in Egypt:
She was contracted Safir Etap Hotel i Dokki,
Cairo for 3, years.
She was also working at Baron Hotel in Heliopolis, Sheraton Montaza Hotel in Alexandria.
Zeina was performing at weddings in most of the five star hotels in Cairo.
Zeina also danced on The Nile boats in special events for new year parties
and in sharm El Sheikh & Hurghada at the Mövenpick hotel.
She was working as a dancer six days a week in Egypt

Dance Group Nefertari
Zeina and her husband Mohamed Abou Shebika
is teaching and doing the Choreographys for
the Swedish Dance Group Nefertari since 1994
The group is performing all kind of folklore dances from Egypt as well as oriental and Oriental show.
They concist of around 15 professional dancers, many of them are teachers in EKC Dance School.
